College Football Week 10 Preview

It was a crazy week 9 with a lot of good games and ending with the first college football play off ranking being released and it was a doozy. Week 10 promises to be even better and hopefully will include some big wins and upsets that will make the playoff committee realize who deserves a spot and who doesn't. The only team who is in and deserves to be without a doubt is Georgia. They have the number 1 spot and remain undefeated and will likely stay that way as they play at home versus a terrible Missouri team. The only real question is will Missouri even score? I will be between the hedges watching up close so I will keep you posted!

Ohio State was number 5 in the rankings after losing earlier this year. They will play Nebraska this week and will likely stay with one loss with both undefeated Michigan State and one loss Michigan looming ahead. Look forward to some movement in the Big 10 to find out who will get the CFP spot. Wake Forest is still undefeated and plays a shockingly average UNC so I don't see the loss coming this week. Ole Miss will bounce back with an easy non conference game against Liberty. Minnesota will play Illinois at home and unless Illinois can pull off some more miracles like they did with Penn State, Minnesota will also win.

Pittsburgh will play Duke to stay with two losses and in the hunt for the ACC. Michigan State remains unbeaten and will play a decent Purdue team. State has to win to keep their playoff chances alive. The biggest snub of the CFP came to Cincy who got ranked 6th after beating everyone they've played. They will likely keep that streak alive against Tulsa and are hoping to see chaos amongst the top 5 to get their shot in the playoffs. Notre Dame will play Navy and will likely stay at one loss after it proving what a quality win Cincy had against them. CFP screwing deserving people out of a shot again. Oklahoma State is on the hunt for the Big 12 and will likely keep it that way against West Virginia.

Another Big 12 contender, Baylor will face a bad TCU to remain at one loss as well. The SEC has a top 15 match up with Auburn facing Texas A&M. The Aggies are at home and it should be a shoot out to see who comes out on top. BYU will win this week against a truly horrific Idaho State. Wisconsin will play Rutgers and stay relatively average. Arkansas fell out of the rankings after suffering 3 losses but they will have Mississippi State who also has 3 losses come to town. Razorbacks will try to get back to their earlier season winning ways. NC State will play a really bad Florida State team and will stay at 2 losses.

Another CFP surprise was Alabama managing a number 2 ranking despite their one loss. They will face another test against LSU this weekend. LSU is a shadow of their former self but they have some offensive weapons and this is not the best Alabama team there has been. This could be a better game than most people think. Kentucky suffered a bad loss last week to Mississippi State after losing to Georgia so they are looking to bounce back against a still bad but improving Tennessee team. Iowa is playing a bad Northwestern team and will likely win and remain at 2 losses.

Fresno State only has two losses and will likely gain another win against Boise State this weekend. Oregon was ranked number 4 in the CFP and will have to win against Washington this weekend to keep their hopes alive. Michigan is back after their first loss of the season due to a shockingly bad coaching job by Harbaugh again. They will face a bad Indiana team to bounce back. San Diego State, another one loss team, will face Hawaii. There is lots of good games with a lot of upset potential. Week 10, let's see what ya got.
