College Football Week 6 Preview

Week 6 promises just as many fireworks as all the previous weeks have given us. Let's talk about what's in store. Coastal Carolina looks to stay unbeaten against the dregs of the Sun Belt, Arkansas State. They are rightfully 20 point favorites in this one and should cover against Arkansas State's atrocious defense. Cincinnati continues to try and stay unbeaten for hopes of slipping into the playoffs by beating Temple which they should easily do. Arizona State plays Stanford who is coming off a huge win against Oregon last weekend. Arizona State is a big favorite but this should be a close one. San Diego State is a big favorite against New Mexico at home. The Red River showdown should be a good game, I am ready to see if Spencer Rattler is as unworthy of the hype as I believe he is. Texas running back Robinson will have a big impact on this rivalry game.

Ohio State plays Maryland as a big favorite. They have to win to remain in the hunt for a playoff spot. Undefeated Michigan State plays Rutgers at Rutgers. Arkansas and Ole Miss will both be trying to bounce back against each other. Another big test for both. Florida plays Vanderbilt in what should be an easy win. Georgia plays Auburn at Auburn. Expect another impressive defensive showing and Bo Nix to have a very long night. BYU looks to remain unbeaten against Boise State. Wake Forest is also looking to keep a perfect record against Syracuse. SMU is a 2 touchdown favorite playing Navy this weekend at Navy.

The best game of the week is a top 5 match up; number 3 Iowa versus number 4 Penn State. It's at Iowa with the Hawkeyes being 1.5 point favorites. It should be a very close game but its definitely a pick 'em and I would stay far far away. Michigan will try to prove once again they are forreal against a 3-3 Nebraska team. Notre Dame will try to bounce back against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. The Irish are 1 point favorites and as usual Vegas is right, it will probably be a close one. Kentucky has another test against LSU this weekend and will need a win going into an SEC East battle next weekend against Georgia. In what was supposed to be a very good game early this season is turning out to be a pretty easy win for Bama, the Tide faces Texas A&M at Kyle Field. Bama will continue to roll and stay undefeated headed into week 7. Now let's see what surprises college football has for us this weekend.
