Sights on Six, Indeed.

Duke could very easily capture its sixth title this year.

Three likely top five draft picks come June. Four in the first round is likely. Coach K could hang his hat on this recruiting class. With Zion and Barrett, it will be in debate for the greatest of all time. This team won't go undefeated through the regular season like the 2015 Wildcats. Let's be honest, Kentucky wouldn't have gone undefeated in they played in the ACC. That's why this Duke team is going to be different. The players are more talented than that team. They've already played six top 15 teams and we're still in January. They've lost to only 1 of those teams. Yes, they lost to an unranked Syracuse team. But would they have if Cam Reddish hadn't missed the game for an unspecified illness and Tre Jones going out in the first six minutes of the game. We can answer that defiantly in February when they meet again in New York in what I believe will likely be a BIG Blue Devil victory. Watching Duke win on Saturday against a Virginia team that will most likely be title contenders if they can get past their first round match up in the tourney that is (i'm sorry I had to, I heard enough about Lehigh and Mercer) only confirmed how good this Duke team really is. And they won without Tre Jones who is the best on ball and off the ball defender that Coach K has ever had (sorry Shane Battier). They're going to face more competition than anyone in the country. They understand the hype that the tournament is going to bring because with Zion around, they face those bright lights almost every match up. If these freshman stay healthy, a sixth banner will be hanging in Cameron. That much is sure.
