The Women's College World Series had one of its best years ever this year. Some may believe it had to do with the lack of sports for the previous year made every sporting event more popular. Some believe softball is finally getting the recognition it deserves after years of falling between the cracks. No matter what you believe, if you watched any of the games, those girls put on a show. From Alabama's Montana Fouts perfect game to both Oklahoma and Florida State fighting through the losers bracket to the national championship series. There were so many reasons to watch this game and the girls did not disappoint. They proved their worth boasting one of the highest ratings of a women's college world series ever. I never watched much softball but this year, I fell in love. Every game was exciting and filled to the brim with women playing their absolute best on their biggest stage. I am ready for next year already.
